I wanted a piece that could handle my big 17 pound tabby, and this seemed like it might fill the bill. It’s well made, heavy and sturdier than most, but the assembly is pretty time consuming - it’s a lot of pieces. Sadly, my cat has mostly ignored it, but I feel like it was a good value anyway.

I went through two other trees before I found this one. My cat is so large she was pulling the other ones over. I don't want to have to wall mount it, so this one works great on its own! She's 19lbs and she has jumped up on it, climbed it, scratched on it, and it's never even almost ripped. And the caves are very large and so is the bed. I did have to super glue the mouse wand to the tree because it would just fall out, but other than that, it was perfect right out of the box. Very easy to assemble. I'm a girl and I did it. I got this tree for my cat because she was outgrowing the first one. She's about 9 lbs now and fits perfect in the top bed. She also is very energetic and runs up and down this tree without it budging. She loves the perches and the little houses where she can peek out in wait to pounce on our other cats!
